Are there any men who like short hair on a lady?

It depends on the style. If it’s short but looks like this link it’s boring as hell; no effort was made to make it decent.

On the other hand, something like this has some style link

So speaking for myself, short hair isn’t always bad, and long hair isn’t always good. It depends on what you do with it.

I like hair on a woman. Long hair is nice but it does get in the way and is difficult to always deal with. Short hair looks good if it matches the whole picture. Some women wouldn’t look good with it…

One of the wonderful things about hairstyles is one can find a style and length that complements the shape of the face and head. So for me a short hair cut on some women is fascinating, on others it is not attractive to me.

I like a nice pixie cut on a certain shaped female noggin. My niece can pull it off and she looks very fashionable. Actress Michelle Williams is another great example. She’s pretty adorable.

Like @elbanditoroso , to me it depends on the specific cut / style / hair and the face it goes with.

Unlike @elbanditoroso , I have the opposite preference with his two examples!

I generally feel like I tend to prefer medium-to-longish hair, but it really depends on the style and I think that first example was so lovely I wouldn’t be thinking I’d prefer anything else.

So it might seem that beauty really is in the eye of the beholder… in a sense, in some cases, at least.

For me, girls can be pretty with short hair. But they would probably look better with longer hair. I really don’t like short hair on women. I doubt I would ever date a girl who had short hair.

But that’s just me…

The Golden Globes were pretty great too.

One of my ex boyfriends loved short hair on women. Not sure why he dated me. My hair has always been long.

When we were young, I preferred he to have long hair.
Now I think she looks terrific with short.

of course, it could be my Tinkerbell fantasy…

When I first met my wife she had hair down to her waist. After our first child was born she cut her hair short, kind of a pageboy style. I did not like it. She grew it out again until our second child was born when she once again cut it short only this time without the pageboy bangs. Again, it was not my favorite but it was not my hair and eventually she then grew it out again. It has never reached the length that it was when we first met and the length rises and falls but usually down to just below the shoulderblades.

Over the past few weeks I have been digitizing my old slides and looking back through them I find myself really liking some of my photos of her when her hair was midway between the initially short cut and the subsequent longer style. While I was not overly fond of the styles at the time she wore them, I have find my attitude has changed with age and now I look fondly at and favor the cuts lengths to, or just above shoulder level.

still don’t like that goddam pageboy cut however

@chyna man, it would bother me if my boyfriend said he had a preference for a trait I didn’t have! Like, if I was a red head and he let if be known he prefers blonds!

Oh, and he preferred tall women. I’m 5’2. Note he is an ex boyfriend!

Wow! Unreal! When Rick and I first started dating we went to a boat show. I have always dressed very conservatively trying to ward off cat calls and harassment (it didn’t work.) There was this gal at the show who had a nice figure and showed it off. She had a plunging neck line that showed quite a bit of cleavage. Rick said, “Why don’t you dress like that so I can say, “Looky what I got!!” ”
I said, “You know what I like on a man? Yeah, those shirts that are like a fish net. I think they’re sexy. Why don’t you wear something like that?” I knew damn good and well he’d hate wearing something like that!
A while later I commented on how nice some other guy looked, and why didn’t Rick dress like that?
He never said anything like that again.

My boyfriend liked my hair when it was short. Thank goodness for that, because I didn’t consult him before chopping it, lol.
