Personally, I think you probably need a 4.0in a BS program in a related field like Biochemistry.

@zenvelo A 4.0 grade average over an entire BS degree? Where I went to university, a 4.0 GPA would mean the highest possible grade in every single class, and the classes were challenging (and diverse) enough that almost no one would ever achieve that. Never mind if they happened to get sick some quarter. I’m sure Harvard knows that most of the best students at the best (and most challenging) schools are not getting 4.0 on every class. Or are you thinking of the GPA at some prep schools where they grade up to 5.0?

@Zaku No, I am not thinking prep school, I am thinking of the GPA for a BS,

The average GPA of students admitted to Harvard Medical School is 3.93. The Immunology Masters porgram is under the Medical School. The OP was asking what one needs to get in. I think if you have a 4.0 in Biochemisty or Organic Chemistry or Biology, you have a pretty good shot at getting into the MS Immunolgy program.

So, lots of grade-obsessed people or people who went to relatively easy-grading BS programs.
