Does this mean something good?

Asked by alittlebitofeverything03 (97points) February 15th, 2018

So I have been Dating a guy for a couple of days,he has taken me out to restaurants, he is very respectful, sweet, gentleman, very pleasing, and he is also older than me, I am turning 30, he is in his mid 40s,divorced,no children,we get along great, we have kissed passionately, but no sex yet, this coming Saturday he was to invite to go a place up north in Florida, very pretty place, and he wants to introduce me to very dear friends of him a married couple, and they are going to a elegant restaurant, plus he said we can also go to the beach if I want to,just spend the day and he brings me back the same day. I was thinking why would he present me to these dear friends of his,is he trying to perhaps get they’re opinion about me, or does he really have good intentions with me?

It’s good if he wants you to meet his friends. It means he thinks of you as someone who could get along with people he likes. Even if he may be interested in how his friends react to you, that can be a positive thing. He’s in his 40’s, not his teens, and has treated you well so far, so I wouldn’t anticipate any negative motive for having you meet people.

A couple of days of dating shows you very little about out a potential relationship. Bring a bottle of wine or flowersfor the hosts a nd have fun but don’t overthink signs and symbols too much yet. It’s too soon.

It indeed does mean good. You shouldn’t read to much into it. These days it’s nice to see if you could get along with his friends who he is close to. So he will be getting feedback from his friends on their take on you. Just be yourself, after all that’s what he likes about you and introducing you to his friends.
