Read a boring book. Watch “A River Runs Through It”.

Dark rooms or low lights, quiet, no guests after 7pm or food or caffeine, take a bath, etc… My husband with epilepsy has to have this every night, plus sleep meds.

No Computer or TV for one or two hours before going to bed.

A warm shower right before bedtime. No sugar after nightfall.

My hubby runs a road race in his sleep (he has restless legs). I’d say he’s about the fastest sleeper I’ve ever seen!

A wank or rub depending on your gender.

When I need to relax and fall asleep I use the Progressive Muscle Relaxation technique while lying in bed. I used to use it a lot more but these days I fall asleep pretty quickly.

For sleeping fast and sleeping like baby then you have to follow some simple tips.
This is actually very easy to fall asleep after lying. You just need to follow some rules.

1. Meditate after lying on the bed
2. Make all the lights dimmed
3. Keep your room cool
4. Avoid smart screens at least 1 hour before bed
5. Hide your clock before your eyes
6. Take a warm bath
7. Put on socks
8. Don’t drink caffeine at least 1 hour before bed
9. Don’t lie on the bed until you feel sleepy
10. Listen to calming music closing your eyes

Hope it’ll help you.

Those are all great ideas except for your lousy link. Spam, or something else?

First of all, set up the environment. Sleep is encouraged when you are not exposed to blue light. You can keep your phone near only if you use apps that helps you sleep. One example is Sleep Automatic. This app plays a sound sequence that is supposed to help you sleep. It’s not scientifically proven, but it helped me and you can use it while your screen is locked to avoid blue light exposure. Then, you can try progressive muscle relaxation. It’s something similar to meditation, but it’s less focused on your thoughts. It will help you relax quickly and your body will enter the “sleep mode” :). Hope it helps.
