Nope. Literally never. Some of my questions are so stupid I’m pretty sure no one has asked them.

I think it is so slow that you shouldn’t really need to check. 7 years ago it was fast enough you could get pretty much the same question a few hours apart.

It should come up when you enter a question. It will tell you that the question has been asked before and you can decide then whether to post or not.

Yes, that feature is on desktop only. It also shows how old the question is. Very old ones are sometimes worth asking again.
That feature has sometimes led me to classics.

I didn’t know that it doesn’t come up automatically on mobile. That does make it harder.

Well, if it shows a question has been asked in the last 6 months I won’t ask. But any older than that I’ll ask away.
