Yes, I think it has been Photoshopped!

It’s not a profile. It’s a photoshopped distortion of a full face.

I think the original picture was a full face shot too. Everything looks a bit off when you switch it to a side view. It’s an interesting illusion, though, created by adding white space.

This is a common technique.

Well, I had a pretty good idea of how it was done. I still think it’s lovely. I love illusions.

Yeah that’s illusion for sure. Look at the eye when considering from front and sideways. You won’t be able to see eye from sideways the way it is looking in the pic. It must have been captured from the front.

It’s a clever picture, but the eye is the giveaway. the entire eye is visible in profile. Eyes on the side of his head? Like a horse? A second look confirms the truth. Check out the ear! It’s growing from his cheek.

We’ve evolved to be very attuned to subtle things, especially when it comes to faces. What caught my attention most were the eyes too. They just weren’t “right” from the side view. Didn’t notice the ear growing from the cheek, though, till you said something @stanleybmanly!
