I propose you a game of sorts (you have an hour to answer, then i will post the answer): according to me, what's the second best bogey after "God vs. Lucifer"?

If i tell you the answer, it will seem obvious.

It’s been four hours and you never returned. Perhaps the 2nd best bogey (bogey means screw-up) is “@luigirovatti vs. Fluther”

@zenvelo he said man vs machine

zenvelo's avatar

@SergeantQueen you are right, I missed that in my tablet.

But what in hell is meant by “bogey”?

SergeantQueen's avatar

Antithesis: (literal meaning opposite) is a rhetorical device in which two opposite ideas are put together in a sentence to achieve a contrasting effect.

Maybe he meant that?

And it just didn’t translate right

Well, I looked it up. A bogey is “a source of fear, perplexity, or harassment”?

zenvelo's avatar

@SergeantQueen that usage is referring to a bogey-man, not to some conflict.

And while God vs Lucifer has some Manichaean basis, man vs machine doesn’t carry that concept, because man can use machines.

The question makes no sense which is why I didn’t answer it.
