What are some traditions the military use?

Tricking newbies. I was ahead of the game on that.
My senior PO thought he would get me, but I fixed him.
I did get a left-handed screwdriver, batteries for the sound powered phone, and he really thought he had me with the bucket of steam, but I got that for him too.
