Which flag seems new to the scene to you, i.e, has any country changed its flag?

….So, amoung the ones that are at times out there and hard to miss because of World Cup or other events.

I know about the “it’s” in my title, I’ve flagged it.

I saw Mexico’s flag for the first time. I think it is a bird catching a snake. I would assume that North Korea’s flag was new? As well as Palestine and Israel. Any of the new countries that separated from another country would have a new flag.

I mean recently, though, as in the last month or something.

@flo No… but I learned that the Italian flag might have been based on three foods. one for each of the three stripes. I saw the Mexican flag for the first time this month. If California separates then will be two more flags. Edit. thanks for the link. I learned something new and quickly forgot most of it.

Some of the flags that belongs to some ‘countries’ that reside in another country in this video. It’s my first time seeing such countries really exist in this world.

Canada. Yes, I know they changed it in 1965 (?) to what it is today. But I remember the old one (with the Union Jack in the corner).

@RedDeerGuy1 Are you sure you really mean you saw Mexican flag for the first time?
@Unofficial_Member Interesting I didn’t watch the video all the way but I recognize Saint t Kitts and Nevis. Does that look very similar to another country’s flag?
