Can someone help me convert this file so that I can fill it out online?

Man, I run across this so often, and figuring out how to make it so I can edit / fill out the application on line, is a day long hunt…and then I’m looking at the same thing again 2 months later and whatever option I used before is no longer available.

I am guessing this a PDF. They are designed not to be edited, so anybody who prints it gets the same thing.

Rather than edit it, you can type over it with a free program.

On a Mac, Preview allows you to type on top of the PDF – How to edit images and mark up PDFs with Preview on your Mac

The Windows program PDF-XChange Viewer does the same.

Hey! For anyone who may come after me with this same (frustration) question, notice that on the PDF-XChange Viewer that @Call_Me_Jay posted, when you open it there is a rather obscure mention of a replacement for the PDF-XChange viewer. I was able to load the replacement program and it really works better than any PDF modifier I’ve ever used.
