Asked by Stunt_1o1 (15points) July 27th, 2007 from iPhone

I just purchase my iPhone a couple of weeks ago ...and personally I love it...I know there may be slight issues like lack of flash no flash for camera no java display horizantal keyboard sadly only in the web brower and the fact that it runs on edge to name the few but I am very very happy with my iPhone and can't wait till the software updates to make me even happier....are you happy with your portable mac?

Yes, I am very happy with my iPhone. I find that more often than not when doingany kind of substantial typing on the go, I will use the rotated keyboard, and it really does make typing much faster.

The only thing that I really wish that it had was the ability to rotate the mail app. I see that coming in a soon to be released update, so it really isn't that big of an issue.

For a first revision product, this one is amazing. It really does do everything advertised with no real issues.

Still have my WM6 smartphone that work gave me, but I find that I am using it less and less. Usually I wise just swap SIMs in my iPhone and just use it for everything.

I love it! I find I use it more and more...it's practically addictive! The only thing I hate is the volume of the ring tones. I miss a lot of calls simply because I can't hear it. Does anyone else have this problem?

Yes, a lot of the more pleasant ones are easy to sleep through, but I usually resort to having the vibrate on constantly, even when it is set to make noise, as something hopping along a table will get my attention.

yes I love my iPhone I have a hard time hearing mine too. I think these minor issues will be resolved shortly

Most of the problems people talk about can be fixed with software, so I'm not worried. The only real problems are EDGE and the camera flash. Whatever Apple doesn't fix, hackers will.

I love it! It has helped me out so much. I can't imagine me without it :) I use it for Internet, traffic updates, directions, weather, email and so much more! I can't wait to see what the updates will be!

Yes I am in love with the iPhone. As someone said above, for a first release its insane. I love how the hackers and devs are coming together and making it better by the day. For example everyone can aim now Thais to flickim. Also the fact that people can already do custom ringtones amuses me, since alot of friends said they wouldnt buy one, simply because of that.

In the end the iphone has left me stunned and very happy.

I found this site because of my iPhone.

My volume improved after a Restore through iTunes. It suits my needs quite well, and like Spargett (and many others) it brought me to the Fluther!

love it, except for the speaker interference on all my audio in house and car, quite annoying, made me conscience about how close I get it next to my lap though...

My iPhone is awesome but I resent being held hostage by AT&T with poor data network, poor pricing plans, outrageous international pricing traps, abysmal visual voicemail, and a website that belongs in the 1980’s… every issue ends up going through 3 technicians before calling in the “apple” specialists only to be told that it IS an AT&T setting/issue. AT&T has my money for now and I’ll use my $100 apple voucher, but, not a single $ of mine will go to either company until they add a feature to disable data (the Edge) from the phone.

Love the iPhone!!! Like glosski, am less than impressed with AT&T.

I love it, I’m having some current issues that the Apple Store Technicians have been more than helpful with.

I have recently installed Cydia for the iPhone. It is an app that totally replaces Installer.app with a new Unix version that is completely open source. It has already support for apps written in Java, Python, Ruby and some other goodies. That seems to open up doors for new programmers to write some useful stuff for the iPhone. Go ahead and get a copy of Cydia, it works as the installer bu is just better.

I start to become more and more bad friends with mine to be honest. It is troublesome that I have trouble syncing my contacts and calendars properly even with trying all the open source work arounds. It does not work the way I want to yet. The phone itself feels a bi sluggish when I use it, all the fading in and out of th windows makes me crazy. During a call the screens switch way to slowly to make it fast enough for info getting/putting. I still make tons of mistakes on the keyboard, don’t seem to improve much. The late flash support makes me crazy. The editing functions within the interface are not enough, just basic functions. and there is no 3G support on it which makes me have to sell it within shortly before going back to Europe.
