What happened to the other USA Womens Beach Volley Ball team?

I don’t how it works. I don’t think they lost. Why can’t they get a medal?

I Found it. It wasn’t clear on Yahoo Sports. They lost to China.

Assuming you are referring to Branagh/Youngs, they lost to China in the quarterfinal, thus knocking them out of the tournament.
