You need not mention the name / thread but the circumstances in which you were looking for some tips / support which you got here.

I’ve only asked 47 questions over the many years I’ve been on Fluther, but I’d say many answers have been 100% appropriate. Is it possible to exceed 100% appropriate-ness?

I don’t typically ask for advice here, but the one question where I did (about my best friend’s obnoxious girlfriend) I got helpful answers.

@imrainmaker Thanks, that makes much more sense to me.

I went and read my questions. I think the most useful answer may have been the answers @LuckyGuy gave to my question on text message hacking.

^That was a good thread to read!! I’m not sure why it was closed? Because of the contents or something else?

Zaku's avatar

@imrainmaker It might have been due to an insane stalker of mine (not even the person mentioned in the hacking thread, IIRC) spamming the thread. I note there were some spam messages at the time, and that same year the insane stalker tried PM’ing me on Fluther.

@SEEK alerted me to what “intelligent design” advocates are really advocating
@RareBear corrected a misconception I had about the equivalence principle
@Saviorfare made me realize the MBTI personality indicator is complete bullshit.
I’m sure there are others.
