Do you have any tattoos that seemed like a good idea at the time...

But now, you feel like you have to explain the circumstances, or simply wish they weren’t there?

No tattoos. But I’ve met some people where I thought, “Deary me, you will regret that some day. One that comes to mind was while facilitating a hotel brand general manager training program. Several of the participants show up to class on Monday sporting the brand’s logo on their bodies. Considering that most managers do not stay with one brand for life, I occasionally wonder how many of them now regret it.

No tattoos for me. I’m not per se against it but I could never think of anything that I’d be certain I would like when I’m in my 80’s.

My wife has a small horseshoe on her lower back (from when she was a farrier) that she now regrets. I like to tease her and call it a “tramp-stamp” though it’s a bit smaller and higher up than the classic “tramp-stamp” in her defense.
