How long before Rudy Giuliani flips like Michael Cohen?

Asked by LadyMarissa (16088points) August 1st, 2018

How long do you think it’s going to take Rudy Giuliani to wake up to the fact that he’s being “used” big time & that Trump will throw him under the bus just like he did with Michael Cohen??? Giuliani is now doing all the things that Cohen was doing & he’s calling Cohen a sleaze. Is that the same as the pot calling the kettle black???

I’ve always found Giuliani to be obnoxious; but at the same time, he appeared to be somewhat intelligent. What is his agenda as he jumps down the rabbit hole???

Giuliani doesn’t have anything to flip. He has no inside knowledge. And Meuller isn’t pressuring him. He is more useful to Meuller as a mouthpiece for the President.

Giuliani was a prosecutor, not a defense lawyer. There are big differences between being a top prosecutor and a top defense lawyer. Many prosecutors know to lay the ground work for a story before trial so that the pressure on the defense becomes overwhelming. A good defense lawyer know to never reveal anything, to not bring attention to a client being charged.

As James Comey said, “it is well known in the FBI to not get between Giuliani and a microphone.” Giuliani needs to shut up and to tell his client to shut up. But it ain’t gonna happen.

I wouldn’t would like to say he is a flipping ever since he took over Cohen’s job of being Trump’s lawyer/spokesman.
He’s, knowingly or unknowingly, throwing titbits around that are, possibly, incriminating, or at the very least, hurting his boss.
In my opinion.
I sometimes get the impression that he’s acting like a senile clown, while all the time, in truth, having the American people in mind, trying to bring Trump down from inside.
I could be severely wrong though.

Giuilani is a clown, a jester. He isn’t serious at anything, including his defense of the president. He was put in his position to be a sideshow, a distraction.

No flipping.
Giuliani should be encouraged to continue making Trump look BAD….

Flip about what?

I do think he’s being used as a distraction. It’s brilliance on the Trump team’s part.

Every time I hear MSNBC talking about Giuliani I think to myself what suckers they are being, and that’s my preferred political channel.

It’s been rather revealing and a little sad that Giuliani has devolved into a joke suitable for association with the likes of Trump. If someone had told me 20 years ago that Rudy would wind up as the back end of the 2 stooges, I would not have believed it plausible.

I don’t see his antics now as flipping & that’s NOT what I was referring to; however, Cohen didn’t flip for over 20 years & actually considered Trump as one of his friends until the bus kept running over him until he finally could see daylight. Trump uses & abuses everyone around him & he has NO loyalty to those who are loyal to him. It appears to me that Rudy is selling his soul to the Devil & I’m wondering how long before he wises up & spills whatever beans he has as there has to be a few things he’s seen while kissing butt!!!

Nowadays he comes off as dull witted and silly as he habitually announces foolish and sometimes incriminating explanations for Trump’s asinine behavior. In fact he’s constantly forced to rescind or modify these explanation after the fact, serving only to emphasize the original fk up. In the end he winds up sounding as bungling and inept as Trump himself.

^^^^ That’s what happens when you pledge your loyalty to a dimwit!!! I think he is there simply to distract us from the REAL things going on!!! Children are stolen from their parents, Rudy acts like a fool & everybody attacks him in place of continuing to scream about the injustice to the children. Trump gets a spanking by his mistress, Rudy gets stupid & ALL the attention goes to him instead of the subject at hand. The truth comes out on anything the administration has said, Rudy acts stupid & the whole conversation changes. Maybe my question should have been “when is the general population going to flip on the status quo”???
