Would you assume that it would be illegal to resell something that has been made illegal?

In the Marketplace, on Facebook, this guy has “vintage” yard darts for sale. I’m debating whether to contact the admins or not.

They are banned outright.

Contact FB Marketplace.

I am having a hard time finding any one to contact….

I could not find anyone to contact so I sent a message to the seller, telling him he might get in trouble for selling them since they are illegal.

I thought lawn darts too while opening this question. Yes it is against the law to sell banned items. Maybe you can just flag the item. I don’t know how FB flagging works.

Not if it’s going to save a kid’s life.

I find it amazing that it is illegal to buy lawn darts, but you can still buy assault weapons and a hundred other types of gun without any problem.

I’ll give up my lawn dart when they pry it from my cold, dead hands.

I love Etsy, but I’ve had to contact sellers to let them know that the furs they are selling are not legal. It’s usually seal skin. But there is little to be done. I told one seller and she just re-named the product ‘Pony skin’... which it clearly was not. If anyone is ever in doubt as to whether an animal or plant species is protected from international trade here is a website. https://www.cites.org/eng

Another problem I see often are home made ‘cures’ that are touted as remedies for skin problems and other medical conditions and one I just found (ironically, looking up alt-right sites) is a liquid in a bottle that I’m assuming is drunk, that is claimed to be a testosterone booster. There are laws that control the production, labelling, and the therapeutic claims that can be made by these backyard set ups. I have a very strong dislike of snake oil salesmen. I’m finding out what rights I might have as a potential customer, to ask for a certificate from their local food safety authority and a full ingredients list. None is listed.
