Ego maniacs have to feed constantly, and his loyal base love his BBQ bullshit on a bun they can’t get enough of them.

Dutchess_III's avatar

Abnormal psychological needs. And it’s terrifying that there are people out there who think it’s great.

rojo's avatar

Yes and Yes.
He does feed his ego with pep rallies and stokes his deplorables and at the same time, by exaggerating the attendance and emphasizing his hot button topics he keeps the rest of the Republican party running scared to confront him.

janbb's avatar

It keeps his base hooked in and fired up. Good strategy for a dictator.

Dutchess_III's avatar

I honestly think he is too stupid to think up an actual strategy. He just goes out and vomits all over the stage and the crowds cheer.

KNOWITALL's avatar

Savvy politics. He’s announcing that he will be on the 2020 ticket for sure and is endorsing local Rep candidates for office prior to November.

I’m telling you, the man is not stupid and I think it’s a mistake to underestimate him- again, even if you don’t like him.

Dutchess_III's avatar

He is an idiot @KNOWITALL. He literally thinks stealth bombers can not be seen. He has the writing level of a 4th grader, if that. I know you don’t want to believe all of this, but he honestly, really is stupid. He’s just had the money to hide it until now. What kind of idiot would brag about grabbing women by the pussy like that’s something to be proud of?

rojo's avatar

^^^Brett Kavanaugh?

KNOWITALL's avatar

@Dutchess_III You can think that, free country and all that, I do not. I think he specifically does and says things for people like you and you buy it hook, line and sinker….lol

SQUEEKY2's avatar

@KNOWITALL Why would Trump do that to voters like her, there is no way in hell he is going to get their vote doing, saying shit and treating women as sex objects as he does, so how does that make him smart??

His loyal base love his BBQ bullshit on a bun, but the rest of the people do not.

Dutchess_III's avatar

So…he WANTS me to vote against him @KNOWITALL? He WANTS me, and millions of other people to think he’s an idiot, hook, line and sinker? What a stroke of genius on his part.

SQUEEKY2's avatar

That’s what I get from it @Dutchess_III and remember he is a stable genius at that.

Jeruba's avatar

They’re his pacifier. When things get to agitating him too much, increasing the chances of rage, unpredictable behavior, and wildly inappropriate remarks, his minders know a good rally will cheer him up and calm him down.

What I want to know is if any numbers are getting added to his “base” or if he is performing more and more outrageously for a smaller and smaller crowd.

zenvelo's avatar

Meanwhile, you are all focused on his tantrum de jour, while the Energy, Commerce, and Agriculture Depts. are gutted and decades of risk prevention are thrown out the window.

Listen to yesterday’s Fresh Air podcast with author Michael Lewis.

Dutchess_III's avatar

Here we go again. We KNOW that that is happening, and our being “distracted” has nothing to do with it. We have law makers who are supposed to speak for us whether we’re distracted or lying in a hospital in a coma or whatever. What difference does our “being distracted” possibly make? As long as our lawmakers in the capitol are paying attention, that’s what is important.

KNOWITALL's avatar

@Dutchess_III But you’re still talking about him. He’s in your head. That’s all he wants, lol.

Dutchess_III's avatar

You’re confusing our utter aversion to him with a prevalent advertising ploy, you know. The more you put your name in front of people, the more likely they are to buy whatever you’re selling when they’re ready.
But it can back fire, as well.
Yeah he’s in my head…as a person that I want to get rid of ASAP. But, that’s what he wants as well. He’s a stable genius.

KNOWITALL's avatar

@Dutchess_III All I can say is wait and see. Yep, stable genius lol

Dutchess_III's avatar

I can’t wait for next month. Oh! Our local democrat chapter called me yesterday wanted to know if I wanted to do some volunteering and I’m all “Hell ya!”

SQUEEKY2's avatar

So alienating all the demo/libs,like all the USA’s allies is a political ploy, not just because most of the free world thinks he is indeed a moron?

Dutchess_III's avatar

Yes. It is THAT smart @SQUEEKY2.

flutherother's avatar

Because he is unfit and incapable of leading the country he goes back to campaigning.

Dutchess_III's avatar

LOL! Right? He just wants to party all the time, party all the time, party all the time.

KNOWITALL's avatar

@SQUEEKY2 How can you alienate people who inherently will never like you anyway? So he’s doing the smart thing, playing to his faithful base and getting new voters. Say what you will, he’s a threat and like one article says, a noxious reality still must be faced.

Dutchess_III's avatar

He’s just making damn sure we are alienated and that we stay that way. What a genius strategy. It’s a Stable Strategy. Very stable.

KNOWITALL's avatar

@Dutchess It is fascinating to watch play out.

Tropical_Willie's avatar

@KNOWITALL go to a foreign country (any free world country will do) and ask about our “Stable Genius”, they think he is an idiot.

KNOWITALL's avatar

@Tropical No thanks, I heard it all with baby Bush while traveling lol.

SQUEEKY2's avatar

Why don’t you think one of those countries will give Trump a thumbs up?
and as @Tropical_Willie said you can pick any free country, think you might have a tough time.
Now I challenge you this go to any one of those countries and ask their opinion of Obama, see what they have to say.

KNOWITALL's avatar

I’ll have to find one that doesn’t take our aid or money first!

MrGrimm888's avatar

Nope. No savvy. No more than cancer. It just needs the right circumstances to fester. Very simple to see. In a democracy, if you have enough losers vote, you can have a loser leader. It has been a painful awakening, to learn that about a third of Americans are terrible people.

Abnormal psychological need? It’s very normal for Trump.

His followers are very stupid. So. He has to keep being a shinny object. If he’s not consistent, the idiots will forget about him, like a goldfish forgets…

He has to be very loud, and consistent. If you have ever watched even a portion of his rallies, that’s the key. Speaking with small simple words, loudly, and repeatedly. As if you are talking to children, or idiots

seawulf575's avatar

I’d say it’s standard fair for a sitting president. Most of them for the past 50+ years have done a lot of campaigning, especially during midterms.

mazingerz88's avatar

@seawulf575 Please don’t be ridiculous. You do understand the question.

SQUEEKY2's avatar

Be easy on @seawulf575 , @mazingerz88 he has his deflections shields up and at full strength.

seawulf575's avatar

@mazingerz88 maybe I don’t understand the question since my answer was reasonable for the question you asked. Obama campaigned basically his entire time in office. They created the term “campaigner-in-chief” because that’s all he did. And I know many of you will scream for sources since you are all incapable of searching on your own. So here are a few:

http://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show/campaigner-chief-makes-some-unexpected-news

https://www.cnbc.com/2016/07/06/who-pays-when-president-obama-is-campaigner-in-chief.html

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/president-obama-campaigner-in-chief/2012/04/30/gIQATAfbsT_story.html?utm_term=.1d6c2ad113a1

And I chose liberal outlets for citations since so many of you are close-minded. Maybe you will believe it if Rachel Maddow says it is so. So, @mazingerz88, was that savvy politics or abnormal psychological need? But Obama is not the only one that has done that. All sitting presidents for as far back as I can remember have campaigned for themselves and for members of their political party while they are in office. My take, and it might be jaded, is that has become the norm, not anything unusual.

Maybe you can now explain the question since I answered what you asked. What did you actually mean to ask? Or were you just trying to have others say Trump has an abnormal psychological need?

mazingerz88's avatar

@seawulf575 You’re so smart you don’t see the difference between trump’s brand of political rallying and Obama’s.

When, how and why they did it is all similar to you. Standard. You’re a genius. Congrats.

seawulf575's avatar

Ahhh…so it isn’t the political rallying that bothers you, it’s who is doing it and how they are doing it. Or maybe which party they are doing it for. Got it. So you asked the question wrong then. But you are right about me….I don’t see a lot of difference. They go on tour, make speeches to stir up their supporters (or the supporters of those that for whom they are speaking), and try to bring in monetary support. Did I miss something? Isn’t that what political rallies are all about?

mazingerz88's avatar

@seawulf575 Yes, you missed that part of your brain that doesn’t play dumb.

seawulf575's avatar

Ahh…that must be it. Since it couldn’t you being a moron and asking a question you want a specific answer for. Oh and then get personally insulting when someone doesn’t give it to you. Yeah….I can see where I was the one in the wrong here.

KNOWITALL's avatar

@seawulf575 haha! I envy you your patience, my friend.

Dutchess_III's avatar

“I’d have to find someone who doesn’t take our aid or money…” to respect their opinion @KNOWITALL? What a demeaning, nasty thing to say about ou poorer brethren around the globe. Our Christians make me so proud. Makes me want to run right out and covert so I can know the true happiness of smug, judgemental superiority.

SQUEEKY2's avatar

That’s ok @KNOWITALL ask any Canadian then, or how about England, maybe Australia .

Dutchess_III's avatar

The Netherlands meet your entitled, Christian requirement, @KNOWITALL.
“Assistance to the Netherlands
The United States provides no development assistance to the Netherlands. ” Source

And this is what that country thinks of Trump.. (Warning. Hilarious! I love my people!)

KNOWITALL's avatar

@Dutchess_III If cigarettes make you change as much as you have, I’d recommend you keep smoking.

@SQUEEKY2 I don’t care what other countries think, although Trudeau is rather goodlooking.

notsoblond's avatar

^wtf? low blow

Dutchess_III's avatar

What @KNOWITALL? You’re the one who said you wouldn’t give any weight to the opinions of any country who took aid from us. So I presented you with a country who doesn’t get aid from us, AND I presented you with their opinion. It is, of course, not favorable. But the video is hilariously spot on.

KNOWITALL's avatar

@Dutchess_III “What a demeaning, nasty thing to say about our poorer brethren around the globe. Our Christians make me so proud. Makes me want to run right out and covert so I can know the true happiness of smug, judgemental superiority.”

Maybe in future, if you ask a question, you’ll allow me the courtesy to answer before you make things up and spout off rudeness about my religion.

seawulf575's avatar

@Dutchess_III You have slammed Christians repeatedly on these pages. You present them as selfish and judgmental. You are judgmental when you make statements like that, so…welcome to the party! But as for stingy, here’s thought for you: Conservatives give far more to charity than liberals. And correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t most conservatives Christians? Huh. Imagine that. But I know…you are thinking “he can’t prove that!” But here:

https://www.nytimes.com/2008/12/21/opinion/21kristof.html

And I chose an uber-liberal outlet to put it out there. There are, of course, more articles out there about this, yet I cannot find one that says anything other than conservatives are more generous than liberals. Liberals are great at demanding that the government gives everyone everything, but when it comes to actually helping their fellow man one-on-one, your kind falls flat.
So the next time you care to spout off and ridicule Christians, you might want to make sure you aren’t in a glass house. But as a liberal, you are and can be nowhere else.

KNOWITALL's avatar

@seawulf575 She didn’t used to be that way, I assure you. I came in here as a christian, and it never seemed to matter until Trump was elected. Weird.

notsoblond's avatar

It’s not weird. For many of us we can’t understand how good people can support such a disgusting man. Many of us have lost respect for those who support him.

KNOWITALL's avatar

@notsoblond Ya well I dont think good people kill babies. So I guess we’ll have us another civil war and be done with it.

Dutchess_III's avatar

You said you only respect the opinions of people /countries who don’t take aid from our country. Care to flesh out the reason why you feel that way @KNOWITALL? Can you do that without coming off as judgemental (which you’re not supposed to be, remember)?

And it’s not so strange that non-Christians are upset. When a preaching, practicing Christian who they actually liked and respected, stares an anti-Christ right in the face and wants to climb into bed with it, THAT is strange.

KNOWITALL's avatar

@Dutchess Actually Tropical Willie started the ‘other countries’ spiel. I tried to say I know and dont care. End of story.

You took it to my religion, and you just got off my facebook for that same crap earlier this year. It’s your issue, I dont have to deal with it. You know I liked you, I thought we were friends, and you didnt used to use religion against me. Actually I respected your beliefs on religion because you werent an ass about mine. You changed, not me.

KNOWITALL's avatar

And Trump is shaking up deals all over the country, supposedly to our benefit. Why would we be loved right now? I heard all the same comments about Bush Jr while travelling already, so whats the difference?

Canada and Mexico seem to be ready to deal, so I have faith Trumps hardline is working. The polls seem to agree. And the economy.

I gave Obama the same faith, was on ACA, etc…so I’m not sure why that makes me Trumps follower to you.

mazingerz88's avatar

Only lost souls would give a douchebag like trump ANY credit.

SQUEEKY2's avatar

“I’ll have to find one that doesn’t take our aid or money first!”
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Your words @KNOWITALL when shown ones that don’t
you claim you don’t care and attack @Dutchess_III
is that really a peace loving Rep/con you guys claim to be?

seawulf575's avatar

@KNOWITALL you are a Trump follower to them because you are fair to Trump and don’t try blasting him at every turn.

KNOWITALL's avatar

@Seawulf Yes I know, pretty goofy.

@Squeeky Plenty of you foreigners on here have made it clear you side with the Trump attackers, so why would I want to hear more bashing of my President?

SQUEEKY2's avatar

@KNOWITALL I side with the Trump attackers when your Don Father declared Canada a National security threat, just so he could slap unjust Tariffs on us.
Canada your oldest ally and biggest trading partner, you may love your stable genius but the rest of the world, except for a few ruthless dictators DO NOT.

Dutchess_III's avatar

No, you changed, @KNOWITALL, You warped everything about you that was Christian that I respected, when you climbed into be with the devil. Before Trump you had common sense. You had compassion and empathy. You seem to have lost all of that.
And you DID say you’d only accept the opinon from countries that didn’t accept aid from us, right here, yet refuse to explain yourself. That is just further proof of how you’ve changed.

seawulf575's avatar

@Dutchess_III but you have never shown a bit of respect for Christians that I have seen. Why do I find your statement about @KNOWITALL to be contrived?

Dutchess_III's avatar

I don’t have respect for you @seawulf575. That has nothing to do with my attitude toward “all” Christians. I take them individual by individual. @KNOWITALL was one of the good ones. I have several good, decent Christians in my life and on Facebook.
I have also dropped a few of the judgemental, intolerant, hateful ones.
But then again, I’ve dropped atheists who turned out to be assholes.

seawulf575's avatar

Our Christians make me so proud. Makes me want to run right out and covert so I can know the true happiness of smug, judgemental superiority. Weren’t those your words? How was that a case by case basis? I know you like to think you are fair minded, but you are not. You have bashed Christians every time you talk about them and you don’t limit your discussion ever to a case by case basis.

seawulf575's avatar

@Dutchess_III I also notice that when I clocked you on that bash of Christians and pointed out that Conservatives and Christians contribute more to charity than liberals. I notice you avoided that entirely. Typical liberal bullshit. Make gross statements and then run away when you are called on them. And then try to act like you didn’t make the statement.

notsoblond's avatar

Conservatives and Christians contribute most to bigotry and racism, so there’s that.

They hide behind their evil ways by saying “but i give more!” What bs.

seawulf575's avatar

Yet it is the left that tries to make everything about race. You are the ones that are wrapped around the axle when it comes to race. You have even called black people racists. Time to face facts…it is the liberals that focus on race, not the conservatives. You do that because all your thoughts are full of hate.

SQUEEKY2's avatar

You are right we are wrong @seawulf575 you have preached nothing but peace and love,we Liberals are the bad ones ,thank you for showing us the light.
that what you want to hear??
For a peace loving conservative you have thrown a lot more insults at people here ,that don’t share your enlightened views, and yet it’s the liberals in your view are nothing but hate preachers?
Don’t know why you try to share your enlightened views with us doomed hateful people.
Trump is truly the saviour and will save the entire world,or at least America first, remember Trump is the least racist person we know, he can’t help if his inner circle is falling with criminal charges, after all they are good people chosen by him.
And after all he has pushed the American debt way further than the guy before him,and that’s ok.
Because it’s now aimed to help the people at the top,so no need to go any further as long as it’s not helping the working slob.

KNOWITALL's avatar

@SQUEEK2 Has your 401k gone up in the last year, because mine has. Has your unemployment dropped, ours has. Read my last Q about Canada if you want, I dont think you are in a good enough position to judge.

@Dutchess It’s fine, I climbed in with the devil. Right…???

chyna's avatar

^ my 401k has gone up steadily since 2012. Right now it’s down some.

SQUEEKY2's avatar

@KNOWITALL go back and look at the charts for the last 2 years of Obama’s administration it’s just as good as Trump’s if not a touch better, then come back and judge all you want.
And we don’t call them 401ks up here .

notsoblond's avatar

Calling out racist behavior is the right thing to do. If you don’t want to be called out, don’t make the appearance of a racist.

SQUEEKY2's avatar

^^Totally agree^^

KNOWITALL's avatar

@seawulf See? Racists again….they got nothin. I probably know more LGBTQ’s and minorities than half these people. So ignorant to use that ugly word about strangers. You guys should be ashamed, Graham was right.

@SQUEEKY2 Charging 300% on our farmers milk…tsk tsk. Enjoy your new deal!!

Dutchess_III's avatar

Some of my best friends are black people.

seawulf575's avatar

@Dutchess_III as are mine. Yet that doesn’t stop people from calling me a racist.

Dutchess_III's avatar

I was being sarcastic. The cliche you know.

KNOWITALL's avatar

@seawulf See, the truth doesnt matter at all to these people. Smh

Dutchess_III's avatar

What truth @KNOWITALL? What are you talking about?

KNOWITALL's avatar

@Dutchess Racism and false accusation of racism…not sure why you are being sarcastic tbh, I’m serious and so is @seawulf.

Dutchess_III's avatar

I never said you were racist! As far as I know, you aren’t. But maybe others have. If they have, then you claiming to know lots and lots of black people or LBGT people doesn’t mean a single thing.
It’s the old, “But some of my best friends are black people!” So?

KNOWITALL's avatar

@Dutchess Cliche or not, it can still be truth. Gotta watch my Chiefs, later.

seawulf575's avatar

The problem with all the cries of racism is that it is generically applied. All Trump Supporters Are Racists!...that sort of thing. The problem is that (a) it isn’t true and (b) it doesn’t define what a Trump Supporter is. So I would suggest that to avoid more divisiveness, the left drop the racist label. They have over used it and it has become a sad joke.

Dutchess_III's avatar

I did not say it wasn’t the truth. I’m saying that it does prove anything at all, as far as whether you’re racist or not so there is no point in citing over and over that “I know more LBGT people than any of you!” That doesn’t mean anything. It doesn’t prove anything.

(Rumor has it the Chiefs are kicking butt this year! At least that’s what it sounds like from my living room!)

seawulf575's avatar

But saying you are a Trump supporter so therefore you are a racist proves something? Basically, it sounds like you are saying that it is okay to call someone a racist without any actual knowledge of that person for reasons you make up. But it is then on that person to prove they aren’t and stating that you know and are friends with a lot of black people isn’t proof. So what would you consider proof? Here, let’s try it. YOU are a racist because you are a liberal and everyone knows that liberals are racists. Now, it is up to you to prove you aren’t. And you can’t use anything in your actual life to prove it because that isn’t proof.

Dutchess_III's avatar

I never said “If you are a trump supporter you are racist.” You need to argue with those who may actually say that to you.
I know @KNOWITALL is a conservative and I know she supports some parts of trump, but I don’t think she’s a racist.
Again, go yell at someone who said that. That would not be me.

KNOWITALL's avatar

@seawulf omg, I have zero patience to go thru this right now.

Chiefs are 5–0 though so carry on!

seawulf575's avatar

@Dutchess_III I didn’t say you said that. But you are defending those that do. Your answers refuse to actually come out and say they are wrong. In my world, silence is tacit agreement. So which is it? Are you saying it is okay to call all Trump supporters racist or is it wrong?

Dutchess_III's avatar

Well, you lost me! I don’t know what you read that made you think I was defending anyone. No, I do not think it’s okay to call all Trump supporters racist.

Are we done now?

SQUEEKY2's avatar

@seawulf575 Where did racism on these threads start? and where was it directed at you?
I think your an ultra scary extreme right winger, BUT I have never said you were racist, and never said @KNOWITALL was either.
You on the other hand has called everyone here that hasn’t seen it through your enlightened ways ,ignorant, stupid, moron, and so on and when any of us push back you claim we are being hateful, really?
YOU’RE THE VICTIM????
I never called Trump supporters racist,I think TRUMP is a racist and a complete liar,I know you don’t but that’s ok, you freak if you any of us put so called put words in your mouth, DON’T PUT THEM IN OURS EITHER!!

KNOWITALL's avatar

@notsoblond brought it up, we discussed, Dutchess made a sarcastic comment that appeared to defend Dems using that word for all Trump voters. We all can read the thread, this isnt rocket science.

Squeek you need to calm down, you dont even live here lol.

SQUEEKY2's avatar

Yeah, @KNOWITALL but the fucking shit that goes on down there seems to have a way of affecting us north of the border.

KNOWITALL's avatar

@SQUEEKY2 What ways are our politics affecting Canadians negatively?

SQUEEKY2's avatar

Putting unjust tariffs on us is a start.
Extreme duties and tariffs on our soft wood lumber is another, but you have no problem excepting our raw logs. putting lots of sawmills up here out of business, thus putting a lot of people out of work.
Not your fault but our government selling you the usa electricity cheaper than we can make it,thus making us Canadians to make up the difference in our power bills.

KNOWITALL's avatar

Really? I’ll have to do sone research on that. Thanks.

seawulf575's avatar

@SQUEEKY2 if you want to know where racism entered the thread, look no further than your buddy, @notsoblond . She is the one that made several slams on racism before I finally shot back. Yes, a liberal started it….just as I have been saying.
As for me calling people names, I absolutely have. And in most cases it is after they have taken shots at me first and after they have tried dodging questions, avoiding points, gotten belligerent and generally been excessively rude. If you notice, I don’t get rude with jellies that don’t get rude with me. I have been having several good discussions with @JLeslie on other threads. We disagree on a lot of points, but we don’t get disagreeable. MAYBE, you should be calling out those on these pages that get rude…other than just the Conservatives.

SQUEEKY2's avatar

Well I thank you for being honest, but please playing the poor little victim is really quite nauseating, I have seen you on the very first post deflect and go straight to liberal bashing.

seawulf575's avatar

And often what you and the others call deflection isn’t that at all. Oftentimes it is nothing more than a comparison on how people are reacting. Example is this question. Is Trump’s incessant political rallying savvy politics or abnormal psychological need? My answer was that it is pretty standard fare for a sitting president to campaign, especially coming into the midterms. I was immediately told not to be ridiculous and you said I had my deflection shields up. When I pressed the questioner on what his question mean and explained what I thought it meant, it turns out he really didn’t have a question…he just wanted Trump bashing. But you jumped right on to “deflection” when I answered the question that was asked. So now you claim I am the bad guy because you decided you didn’t like my first answer? And you wonder why I feel like people attack me? Get a mirror.

SQUEEKY2's avatar

So comparing is a fair answer, so when someone asks Why did Trump do Blank, and you come back with well why did Clinton do blank, that is a fair answer to the posters question?

To say yeah well your side did this as well so our side can do it to,that’s not a discussion or a debate, it’s just kids fighting on the playground.

chyna's avatar

“Chyna why were you smoking pot? Well @Squeeky2 was so I did too.”
No, that comparison never worked on my parents either.

SQUEEKY2's avatar

Totally agree ^^
But it seems to be fine in the political landscape.
According to certain conservatives here it’s fine to answer with a comparison.

KNOWITALL's avatar

@chyna It may not work for you as a reply (lol), but it’s hypocritical to deny Bill was a sexual predator. So to many Reps, it’s the pot calling the kettle black.

janbb's avatar

@KNOWITALL I don’t think many liberals would deny that Clinton was a sexual predator at this point. We may not have felt it was important back then which I regret. But that still doesn’t excuse denial of any current predator now that we are more aware.

KNOWITALL's avatar

@janbb And I totally agree with that. I think it’s frustrating for some conservatives, due to the hypocrisy. (Bill was my first vote ever, and I really liked him a lot. Hillary would have gained my respect by leaving him and not ragging on the women.)

Dutchess_III's avatar

This is the very first I’ve heard that Clinton was an actual sexual preditor. I thought he was a horn dog (most guys seem to be) and he had a consensual affair with another woman, right or wrong and that’s all. That’s just no comparable to attempted rape.
These other charges are a different issue.

KNOWITALL's avatar

@Dutchess_III
Bill Clinton, the 42nd President of the United States (1993–2001), has been publicly accused of sexual misconduct by four women: Juanita Broaddrick accused Clinton of raping her in 1978; Kathleen Willey accused Clinton of groping her without consent in 1993; Leslie Millwee[1] accused Clinton of sexually assaulting her in 1980; and Paula Jones accused Clinton of exposing himself to her in 1991 as well as sexually harassing her. The Jones allegations became public in 1994, during Clinton’s first term as president, while Willey’s and Broaddrick’s accusations became public in 1999, toward the end of Clinton’s second term. Millwee did not make her accusations until 2016. -Wiki

janbb's avatar

^^ I did say “many liberals”. :-)

Dutchess_III's avatar

That is new information to me.
If those other allegations had come forward while Clinton was running for office, if I had known of them, I more than likely would have pulled my vote.
You all knew about Kavenaugh and you did not pull your vote.
Shame on all of you who still backed him.

KNOWITALL's avatar

@Dutchess None of us voted for Kavanaugh.

Aw….. Trumpers don’t like being called out….

Look. Just because I support Hitler, doesn’t mean I don’t like Jews. Some of my best friends are Jews. I love them SO much, but I don’t mind what he’s saying about them. In time, I will claim love for them as they are rounded up and taken somewhere. I will miss them. But not as much as I would have missed my culture, had they stayed… I am SO misunderstood….. I just care about the economy….

You voted for the machine that put him in there @KNOWITALL.

^She doesn’t care. She is under the impression that at whatever cost, abortions should be illegal. She’s also under the false impression that abortions will stop if they are illegal. Not very smart, for such a smart person.

Millions of illegal abortions are attempted all over the world, where abortions are illegal. The results are disturbing. Thousands of females die from these procedures. In the best scenarios, women resort to certain medications that will cause a miscarriage.

But… That’s the hill she’s chosen to die for. Well. More appropriately, kill for…..

KNOWITALL's avatar

Oh you fools….Grimm doesn’t even vote so to me, his opinion counts for squat.

MrGrimm888's avatar

^Whatever makes you feel better about your choices….

Women weren’t allowed to vote until fairly recently. Did their opinions not matter?

KNOWITALL's avatar

@MrGrimm888 But you choose not to, big difference. You realize its detrimental to both major parties right? They need every vote.

MrGrimm888's avatar

I am not represented by either party. Just because I have the sense to hate the Republican party, doesn’t mean I support the dems…

I will not play the game. As I have said before, I think it’s a con. Voting gives people the illusion of power. The illusion of choice. In reality, they are validating whomever the most elite people want in power, to further their own agenda.

I’m not part of the solution. But I’m not part of the problem either…

“A life unexamined, is not worth living.”

@KNOWITALL . I challenge you to examine your motivations, for supporting the current administration. I challenge you to look in the mirror, and say you’re fine with hurting millions, or billions to maybe save some fetuses. Fetuses, that when they are an actually an actual person, will be hurt by republican agendas.

It seems clear, to me, that you have sold your soul to this administration.

I hope you got more, than 30 pieces of silver. But I doubt it…..

Think. Chew. Digest. Mirror.

You can lie to me.

You can lie to Fluther.

Try lying to yourself.

Convince yourself, that your motives are what you say they are. You certainly have NOT convinced me, that you have any ethical code. You don’t follow Christianity, or any other religion that you claim to. I would bet my life, that your “God” would despise your support for Trump. I would bet that your God would be ashamed of you. If the ethics claimed, are expected to be adhered to, by the religion’s followers.

So… Go to a mirror. Call for your God. And then say what you say here. The pro-Trumpish/ignorant stuff. Look at yourself when you knowingly lie. Digest this… Then talk…........

Were you talking to @KNOWITALL? I assume so, but the arrow was pointing at me.

KNOWITALL's avatar

@MrGrimm Are you drunk again? Seriously.

MrGrimm888's avatar

I’m always drunk. Just think that. It’ll make you feel better about my comments. It doesn’t take a sober person, to tell right from wrong.

Dutch. I was talking to @KNOWITALL ...

If abortion had been illegal in 1979 I would have found a way, any way.

MrGrimm888's avatar

I was listening to a program on NPR, about 3 months ago. It was focused on a female politician, in Brazil. I think it was Brazil… Anyways, abortions were illegal in that country. She said that there were over 500,000 illegal abortions performed each year. She publicly announced a specific drug, that would result in a miscarriage. It isn’t a drug for that, but it is sold in large numbers, in theory because it is used as a form of abortion.

When abortions are illegal, it’s far worse for society. Women, as is often the case, are the primary victims. Many children survive illegal abortion attempts, but suffer terrible defects.

So. In short. If you support making abortions illegal, you support women’s suffering. It’s really that simple.

Think about that number. 500,000/year. That’s just one country. It doesn’t take a genius, to assume there are exponentially more, throughout the world.

Anyone under the assumption that making something illegal stops it, is just not connected to reality…

@MrGrimm888 Yes, and killing babies will never be okay with me. Later rando.

Dutchess_III's avatar

God does it all the time.

MrGrimm888's avatar

@KNOWITALL . I’ll tell you this, because you don’t seem to know. Babies grow into people. And yet, you don’t care about people….
