If the Chicxulub asteroid never hit Earth, would the Fluther membership now consist primarily of dinosaurs?

Also what If the Native Americans discovered Europe before the Europeans discovered America would we all be speaking Cree? Also would they have a space program if never interfered with?

Or if it had been bigger, and had wiped out more of the current life, would jellyfish eventually have diversified and filled the vacant ecological niches? Perhaps Fluther would be a true virtual fluther!

Not dinosaurs, but perhaps some sort of highly evolved saurian creature instead of just the advanced tree shrews that we actually are.

I have a ruff idea of what the original username of both @Philosoraptor and @cummings is. ;-)

@Philosoraptor & @Jeruba

My prehistoric persona is not an accurate representation of the membership as a whole. ;-)

But @Brian1946…you don’t have that category all to yourself, you know. You know?

Just for example.

Hmph! With the exception of my Mesozoic self, I saw nothing but Cenozoic whippersnappers in that thread.

I don’t think there would be any humans/computers. And the world would be a better place!

The thoughtful discourse that is Fluther would not exist without Chicxulub. There would be nothing but mastodons bellowing to each other across the primeval swamp. Or wait, maybe that is Fluther?
