Who started fluther.com? Also: Who thought of it? Also: How?

This post is old and out of date, but it does contain some information. Founders Ben and Andrew (known collectively as Bendrew and also as the Fluthergods) have moved on, and there’s no more development. The remnants of the community stick around out of loyalty and habit, some to see friends and others to irritate adversaries.

I count 11 original Jellies who are still here, 3 currently using different monikers. They’re all Fluther royalty.

Would be interesting for those people to tell us how it’s evolved over the years.

Well, I’m pretty sure that the absolutely insane Wis.dmrs who crashed this place in 07 (?) were the catalyst for creating the Social section.
