Have you ever bought smoked oysters that were purple on the bottom?

I would like to buy a tin of smoked oysters, and would like to know the odds of getting a second spoiled batch? Should I open in the store and ask for a quick refund?

If it happens again, don’t throw them out just bring them back to the store for a refund.

Also, before you buy, check the can to see if it looks like it is “bloated,” in which case it is already bad. And check the use by date. And check to see if their are any punctures or dents or leakage.
