Can anyone help me find this song?

I’ve been trying to remember a song I heard many years ago. It’s been bothering me. I can’t remember the name, singer or lyrics. Only a certain part of the song. Which is a memory (singer talking of memory) of them being in a diner where they used to go with their father. Saying something like “nothing has changed expect the fabric on the chairs” that’s all that stands out from the song. I could be wrong, but the singer is talking about being in a diner. I’m almost sure it was a country song.
