How or why did CNN get ahold of Obamas VP news before the text messages came out?

Somebody at the Democratic National Committee probably leaked it.
If the higher-ups find out who, he or she will be cleaning our their desk.

Tomorrow morning, Obama will make his official statement via text message and a speech in Springfield, IL which is where he announced his candidacy.

I recieved my text at 3:58 EST this morning.

3:19 EST here. I think Obama was forced to jump the gun because of the CNN story.

Are there any secrets anywhere these days?
