So you’ve known each other since you were 10, and now he / she (and you) have hit puberty and now they want to take the relationship in a different direction. Do you want to? It will probably mean the end of the friendship.

I don’t want to ruin our friendship. How should I respond?

Well, listen to the song, tell him or her you listened, then see what they have to say.

He uses the songs words to say what he can’t himself.
maybe just say thanks and after hearing the song note how you feel and decide in a few days what this will lead too…take things slow.

What was the song?

It means the song brings you to his mind, whether reminding him o something about you, or something he wishes to say to you.

Probably because he simply like the song and want to share it. I don’t like moves full of implications and ulterior motives, those will give rise to unnecessary drama. If he has fallen for you he needs to be able to admit to you in person. Listen to the song and tell him your opinion about the song.
