Do we get an Activity For you notification for an edit to an answer/response?

Do we get an Activity For you notification for an edit to an answer/response? I never thought about it until I just bumped into a response which was edited to add. What is the ideal thing to do to make sure that the edit is not missed?

@RedDeerGuy1 It’s your edited to add response regarding Q tips that led me to the question. I just bumped into it, I wouldn’t have seen it.

And so how about never edit an answer just edit it with a new post starting with ”....” or “Editing to…”

@flo I will give it a try. Thanks.

For clarity’s sake, I personally believe it makes much more sense to edit your answer than to start a new post. The edit window is only ten minutes long. Unless you’re on Fluther all day long, most responses will already be their edited version when you see them.

Missing an occasional edit is preferable to the chaos of having both original and edited answers in the same thread, to me.

@longgone I was thinking something similar. If you’re worried, you can always go back and check your own questions from time to time.
