A tie between Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Kill Bill Vol 1 & 2.

A tie between Kung Fu Panda and Kung Pow: Enter the Fist.

Unlike @zenvelo, whose priority is the quality of the film, mine is the quantity of sophomoric attempts at humor. ;-p

However, I find the quantity of magnificent Asian babes in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon to be a major attractant.

Enter the Dragon comes immediately to mind. I’m having a hard time thinking of a better one, for my own tastes anyway.

There are many different styles of martial arts film.

If samurai films count, try Yojimbo, Sanjuro, Seven Samurai, and 13 Assassins.

Jackie Chan and Jet Li can both be very entertaining, though their films vary a lot in style. Some Jackie Chan I think is great, especially the imaginative comedic action, and some I find really disappointing. Supercop is pretty spectacular and funny IIRC.

If you liked Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, you might also like Hero and House of Flying Daggers.

“Ip Man”, starring Donnie Yen.
“Ninja Assassin” by the Wachowski Brothers is great, too, because of the brutal violence and dismemberments.

^^Yup. I revisit those two films occasionally. Don’t understand why there aren’t more decent Ninja films like NA being made. Even in Japan.

I adore Bruce Lee, so another vote for Enter the Dragon. I’m always excited to see it again.

If it helps, my Vietnamese friends love Bruce, too, and they studied from a young age.

Since they haven’t all been viewed, take this response with a grain of salt. Two of my favorites are “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” and “Seven Samurai”. The former was a great introduction to the genre. The latter may be one of the most brilliant films made in this genre.

Bruce Lee’s story is fascinating.
