What can the United States do to diminish the chances of a blood bath in Venezuela?

Is there any hope at all? We all know where the resulting dispossessed and refugees will head. Don’t we?

The states can ask force block Russia and China from getting involved with Venezuela. Ruissa tends to side with evil dictators. Like Syria, Venezuela, and Vietnam.

I think they to tend to side with whomever will help without expropriating the country’s petroleum reserves.

@stanleybmanly Sorry. I didn’t understand your answer.

I feel that the best thing we can do is stay away from there since we don’t seem capable of intervening in foreign countries without making things worse.

Sanctions are violence, and we have already been implementing sanctions, so we’re involved. And we’re intentionally causing suffering in hopes to force a coup.
The only chance we have is putting direct pressure on our elected officials.

Stay the hell out of it. US intervention would mean thousands killed.
