How much would it cost to send one pound of chocolate to planet Mars?

Asked by RedDeerGuy1 (24463points) May 15th, 2019

Now and in the future? What would it take to lower shipping costs?

. . . each pound of cargo used to cost about $10,000 to ship on a shuttle to get into orbit (they doen’t use the shuttle anymore because it cost so much) That is only going around the Earth and many times that to get a pound to Mars.

Is she worth it??

@kritiper Well being in “the dog house” is dangerous on Mars.

We should probably actually get to Mars first, then solidly establish ourselves there. Then we can figure out shipping costs.
