You can become a driver of ambulances and fire trucks.

Or police cars.

Would what work? What kind of drivers? Commuters? Taxi drivers? Delivery drivers? The question is vague and needs to be more fully formed.

No. It’s a fact that shit happens, no matter how good you are at whatever it is you do. And the faster you drive, especially faster that others around you, the faster the shit can happen!

@Darth_Algar Maybe a button you can push to request a faster speed limit in an emergency?

Other than the above career drivers such as ambulances etc then there is Race drivers.
One can drive fast on there own property in the country as well.

Certain jobs do allow you to drive faster than the speed limit, those are mostly first responders.

To some people getting to the liquor store before it closes is an emergency.

It used to be that waving a white flag or cloth indicated that you were in an emergency situation and the police would escort you going your excelled speed. But waiving a white flag is not exactly conducive to driving 30 mph over the speed limit

I think it’s a good idea. The speed limits are often NOT the maximum safe speed for a good driver in a good car in good conditions.
