Has anything happened recently that changed what you thought you knew?

It doesn’t have to be earth shattering.

I started singing the “3, 6, 9, the goose drank wine” song to my grandkids. They listened raptly, then gave each other That Look…That Gramma’s Off Her Meds Again look, LOL!!

I mentioned it on FB and someone pointed me in this direction had no idea it was an actual song from the 60s, when I was little. I thought it was just one of those songs my mom sang from when SHE was little.
She also used to sing, “When I was goody, my momma told me, that she would buy me, a rubber dolly.”
Again, I had no idea it was part of the “3, 6, 9” song.

If I did know, I forgot it long, long ago.

I thought I knew my husband, but fairly regularly the last seven years I learn something new. It’s shocking to me. Sometimes it’s good things, sometimes annoying.

I’ve learned many new things recently, but it wasn’t really something I thought I knew or changed my mind, I was completely ignorant before learning about it.

I have an interest in Measurement, Evaluation, and Cognition. At first I didn’t know what Cognition was. Now I think it might be fun to take and lead to a good career.

My grandson copied a song that interested him from his social studies book last year. He has been taking piano lessons for the past few months, and when he came across the copy this week he was so excited, “I can read this now – I know the notes!”
