Does anyone here ever tried those eBay auction programs that they sell on tv? They're supposed to help you start your own online business...

I would like to start selling on eBay more than just my used stuff, are those programs any good? Or am I better by just buying from wholesalers and doing it on my own? I’m pregnant and I have my little boy, so no time for work here, but I would like to make some extra money, I’m not asking 1,000’s of dollars, 100–200 a week will do it for me.

What you really need to know is how to resale in bulk, it helps because say you get a bunch of items that are in very high demand – you’ll literally strike big.

Let’s say you bought 10 Wii’s for $249.99 – which is a big purchase and can lose you some money, but most likely gain you much more. It would cost you around $2,500

Now I just looked and Wii’s are going at around $300 on amazon and that’s usually a low priced website.

Looking at ebay, this Wii is going to end soon in about 5 minutes It’s over $385 right now.

Okay that auction ended in exactly $400. If all sell around the same that’s $4,000, not including taxes on originally bought items or shipping charges.

Simply put, I’d do some research but don’t buy into those programs. It’s risky, but rewarding.
