Do people really have green thumbs?

And our mortal eyes just couldn’t see these magical colored thumbs that they use to make plants grow and thrive fabulously under their spell where mere mortals fail?
What is their secret?

Between the ages of 23 & 25 I could heal any sick plant no matter now bad off it was when I began. People were bringing me all their sickly plants to see IF I could save them. What was my secret? I have absolutely NO clue…I didn’t do anything special other than love them!!! After about 25, I could kill any plant that I even looked at. What was my secret? Once again, I have NO clue…they just died!!! I still loved them but maybe they just no longer felt the love!!! I honestly had NO clue as to what I did different between my great healing powers & my kiss of death!!!
I just NOW have had a philodendron longer than 6 months…and I’m a plant freak! But I would kill any philodendron on the planet…and it’s supposed to be one of the easiest plants to grow. It’s does not tolerate weekly watering though!
My MIL has the greenest thumb I have every seen. She brings all plants back to life, and they thrive with her. She loves them, and spends time with them.
