I think fwb is the term friends so he is a friend considering 20 yrs. He don’t use for anything we both do same thing. How do you know what we do outside of the bed.

Let’s assume that your real name is Lisa and your sobriquet Is Cookie, for the sake of this example.

“Good morning Lisa” does sound unusual when you are used to him saying “Good morning Cookie” or the somewhat peremptory “Good morning”.

It may mean something, it may mean nothing, better to ask him.
