But in his day everyone tolerated it, even Jackie. In their circles it was expected behavior. His dad, Joe, did it.

If it were out in the open, no need for secrecy, it would be fine, as long as Jackie was OK with it.

The problem for politicians (and illicit sex) is not the sex. It’s the risk of being found out, and the resulting blackmail.

Well, I doubt Jackie was “fine with it,” but there was nothing she could do about it.
The problem was JFK was sleeping with possible communist sympathizers, and possible Soviet spies, and some of the women were mafia.

I would be more concerned as to his politics and than anybody he might be boinkin’...
