Who was the very well known actor, on one of the other Q&A sites in 2005 or so?

He was raising awareness about climate change, I think, I’m not sure. He is white, around 45 -50 yrs. old by now. He has a name sake (1st name). Who was it? He was using his real name. Who was it?

@lucillelucillelucille It’s not Di Caprio but I wouldn’t be surprised if he also was/is on one of the sites.

@flo Al Gore hosted (if that is the correct term) “An inconvenient truth ” and In “An inconvenient sequal ”. So depending on your point of view he is an actor. Also he played himself in Futurama.
