Why did the Canadian free French channel have soft core porn at nights while the English channels didn't? (NSFW)

The French are a set of randy buggers & our channels most likely had cricket highlights on.

Why would you expect two countries to be identical in any way?

@RedDeerGuy1 I understand it comes in over-air broadcast to you but original point of the broadcast might be anywhere.

@Sagacious Was cbc (Canadian Broadcasting corporation) Edmonton French channel. The other channels where cbc Edmonton, Ctv, ITV and access the information station, At the time.

I was so busy watching porn when I was on the English Channel, that my yacht hit a swimmer and it drowned! I guess I’m the one to blame for the subsequent censorship. ;-(

@elbanditoroso I’ve read a lot and my impression was that yes, the British are more regimented about appearances, but back in the day mistresses, whoring, house party partner swaps, drug and alcohol use-all were common practice accepted in society but not necessarily part of polite society conversation or acknowledgement.
