Given Reagan & now Trump bagged the gig, a not entirely implausible notion.
Might he have been more popular than Dondini the Trumpeteer?

I thought he died of a drug overdose while in the bathroom.
I thought he had a heart attack.
In the current political climate, I can’t cancel anyone off the list. This is actually an interesting question. I think Elvis, may have been a good POTUS.
I hear these Elvis sightings along with the rumor he’s not dead and he faked his death.
Someone made a comment that has stuck with me: “If he faked his own death, would he really build a story where he dies of an overdose while sitting naked on a toilet takin a crap?”

@MrGrimm888 I think so too, fuck it, maybe even Sinatra could have made it to the white house had he been that way inclined.
The big guy bought it sitting on the crapper right after gorging on cheeseburgers. So while the cause of death was a seizure, burgers played their part in his demise & besides, “choked on a burger” worked better for me.
Sinatra… That’s another interesting candidate. I think he had more power, ooutside of DC. But I think he’d have had a chance.. . What about Elvis vs Sinatra, or Elvis, with Sinatra as VP?...
Have you not heard? He’s alive and living with Jim Morrison in a small podunk town in SC. Elvis coveted his privacy; so running for President, would have been the last thing that he would have done. Now, Jim Morrison might be willing to throw his hat in the ring
@MrGrimm888 Surely Sinatra would have picked Dean Martin as his veep, leaving poor Sammy D. Jr heartbroken.
In these crazy days I wouldn’t be surprised if someone dead was elected president.
