What are some of your favorite cell phone apps?

Aside from your daily workhorse apps, what are some apps that you use that allow you to have fun and explore our world?

For my Android I love to use the Sky Map at night to help me identify stars and constellations. I have recently added Aurora that maps the Northern Lights events and alerts me to times and days for high probability of seeing the Northern Lights. What are some other really cool useful apps you have on your phones?

I love that app @Coolhandluke! It’s amazing how many locations you can attempt to locate. If you want to go for an hour hike, plan for 2–3 hours if you use that app. Back in the day did a lot of geocaching with my sons scout troops. I always carry trinkets on hikes just in case.

The kids get a kick out of treasure hunting and so do I! I also incorporate tree and plant ID along the route and have them tell me what they’re seeing as we’re in the woods.

Strava, it’s my running app of choice.
Gives me my mile split times personal best times overall distance & time as well as calories spent & heart rate while moving.
