What color glaze is on your favorite coffee mug?

I have a really nice mug made by a local Austrian fellow. It’s mostly blues with some other shades in it.

Actually I have several mugs that are clear glass – not glazed. One is a shade of deep maroon, and the other a very dark shade of green – forest green. Those would be my favorites.

I have a bunch of mugs with various college and university names that I picked up along the way, as well as a couple for sports teams.

But clear glass, to me, is simple and elegant.

Mine has Best Dad written on it & is blue/white/red

White inside with bands of nutmeg and toffee on the outside. My very favorite was floating blue with satin clear but I gave that one away.

I guess I’d have to say white.
The cup I have used for years is a black plastic Aladdin insulated cup. It used to have a TEXACO sign painted on it but that wore off years ago.
But I have a white glazed mug that has a picture of a German Shepherd on it with “I (heart) my German Shepherd.”

Well, it’s a dark blue mug and glossy. I guess it has a clear glaze. I remember doing glaze that looked like milk but in the end it was clear.

The one that has pictures of 2 of my grandkids on it.
