What does "malheur qui malheur en tant que tel..." mean?

According to Google translate it’s “misfortune that woes as such”.
Is that it?

Can you give the citation for the quote and quote it in its entirety? That doesn’t sound like a complete thought to me.

I found this sentence, “il prend le malheur en tant que tel avec lui ” and the translation of that is “He takes misfortune as such with him.”

If I come across the complete sentence I’ll post it.
