I tried once, but it got back to her before I made my move. She confronted me and I felt terrible.

Probably not. It sounds as though it could become complicated quickly. It may even seem disloyal to the friend.

No. I dated a guy after the girlfriend kicked him out. We weren’t close but did work for the same company. She drove me crazy for trying to steal her man. Didn’t matter to her that she had kicked him out or that he had asked me out. She was still pissed to no end and it was all my fault. Only met one man worth that much trouble an we are married

I was tempted once…chose friendship over lust…they are married now. Just glad I came to my senses!!!

No. But I can tell you a funny story.

After I got divorced, my ex-wife eventually got close to another guy. They never did marry, but they were a couple for a couple years. For the sake of anonymity we’ll call him Mark. Anyway, eventually the two of them broke up. Mark knew me because the ex-wife and I had shared custody of the kids. After the two of them broke up, Mark called me (mostly to complain about her) and he and I went out for beers a couple times, almost like we were buddies, until he got a new job and moved.

Then she married a different guy – for anonymity, we’ll call him Tommy. They were actually married for 3–4 years, but then they split as well. Same thing happened – Tommy called me and we hung out several times until he moved to Arkansas.

So while it’s not the same as what you’re asking – it’s amusing that two of my ex-wifes exes gave me a call and they and I actually became pals for a while.

By the way, it really really pissed her off when I told her that I had had drinks with Tommy and/or Mark.

Ain’t life fun?

@elbanditoroso I was thinking of asking you as I was reading, if she ever found out. Lol!

Yes, if I felt a connection to her and she brought up the idea.
