Being secretary of education, seems about as smart as putting Hamburglar in charge of guarding the hamburgers at McDonalds.
She definitely isn’t there in the students interest.
She seems more out of touch with the real world , than her orange haired boss if that is possible.

Don’t forget her brother is Erik Prince, the founder of Blackwater. When both of them die afterlife family reunions will be easy since they will be in the same place.

Indifference and callousness is not dumb. She does well what she was hired to do.
Good point she seems to really go out of the way to protect fraudulent schools and universities .
Well, you have to put her in the same class as Sarah Palin, former VP candidate.
Both are dumb as a box of rocks. The only thing DeVos has going for her is that she married into bunch of money (her husband’s family developed the Amway Corporation, one of America’s largest pyramid schemes.

School choice is a bad thing? Tell that to minorities, that they are consigned to a failing school.
About the only other thing we hear about Betsey Devos are the measures being taken that potential students access what their passion and future plans are, find a good fit, and a realistic accessment about costs, student loans, and future earning potential of the careers they choose, and their chances of getting a well paying job,
Career training apprenticeships, learning while you earn, sounds pretty good too. And I think it is reality that a college degree is not for everyone and people can be successful with alternate education and training.
I think you are only writing this scathing tirade because she is associated with Trump. People whose Trump Derangement Syndrome (which I am now convinced is an actual psychosis) will oppose anything and anyone, and deny any progress, if it is against Trump.
The U.S. Educational system is a disaster due to many decades of governmental mismanagement and many former students owe more money than they can ever make in their lifetime. Its hard to believe anyone would oppose Devos.
Yeah and it’s due to fraudulent schools claiming 100% job placement when the schooling is done, A lot of these students got their degrees and found no job at the end, regardless what the school claimed now they are up to their necks in debt and almost no way to pay for it.
The government wanted those loans to these fraudulent schools forgiven , but no ole Betsy is still trying to get these students to pay with interest.
Good ole Rep/cons protect the shady corporations and make the poor little guy pay for it.

You just described a broken system that has been subsidized by American taxes and pushed n us by a corrupt government, lobbyists, and teachers’ unions for decades, yet you blame those who are working for change for the very problems they are working to fix.
You seem to like the status quo for the States. Keep electing the Democrats. The only change they are advocating is to put their political opposition in prison, confiscating people’s livelihood and savings.and eliminating jobs that are not a part of their promised “Green New Deal.”
