The best way to monitize domains. I own a bunch of random domains and it is time to make some money with them?

I have looked at affiliate programs, driving traffic from having syndicated content, etc. But none of those seem great. Have you done anything like this in the past and what has worked?

Open up google adwords things on them, that way when people hit the domain via google and maaaaaybe click, you can make a little bit of money from the clicks, just depends on how many domains you have.
