Jesus isn’t against fishing. A nice fishing jacket would be good to use.

I interpret it to mean:

you should spend your money and enjoy yourself while you are alive, because you won’t be able to spend it when you are dead.

From a book I was reading yesterday.

@elbanditoroso Oh – that makes sense now! Well, I think it all depends on your personal desire to leave a legacy (inheritance) or not.

Yeah, a wooden coat doesn’t have pockets.
Spend or gift it.
Don’t wait until you’re close to the end.
The end can be soon.
Or later.
We don’t know, so better live by it.

What do you need them for?
After all, you can’t take it with you.

Much better to die in debt. The bigger the better. Live high on the hog and die with a smile on your face. I want the pocket to hold the bills and threats from creditors for all to view. With any luck, I’ll be in debt for the obscenely ornate casket and massively oversized stone reading “he beat the system”.
