I haven’t had any in four years.

A distant memory, but yes.

Well, last night it was more like “all those Greek almond cookies” but it’s a similar regret.

In years past, especially when the girls sold them and I had to buy boxes and boxes to get to that all-important next level. I loved the Thin Mints and am pretty sure I never at more than a stack at any sitting. I have quit sugar and would not dare take one single bite of one of those delicious disks now.

Nope, not a fan. Now pecan sandies are my another story.

Those chocolate mint cookies are to die for. I’ve eaten far too many of those.

RedDeerGuy1's avatar

No. But I do have 11 pecan tarts from my 18 that I bought last week. Lol.

I bought a box of thin mints last month.

I was able to “restrain” myself to eating about 8 a day; the box lasted for 4 or 5 days.

I enjoyed them and felt just fine afterwards, so I never thought, “I wish I hadn’t….”, but since I’m about 10 pounds overweight, I still feel that I shouldn’t have. My rationale for eating them is that I think the Girl Scouts is a good and inclusive organization, so that’s my symbiotic way of supporting them. ;-p

I was just asking my daughter about Girl Scout cookies tonight. No one asked me to buy any and I haven’t seen any tables set up at the grocery.

I want DO-SI-DOS!!!

I thought the cookie thing was just a metaphor. Glad I read the answers before posting something that maybe embarassing.

@gondwanalon -The mint cookies are why I have a stomach ache but I love them so. I have learned my lesson.lol

Kardamom's avatar

Not really. I can make Girl Scout cookies last 6 months to a year.

JLeslie's avatar

No, but I have that thought about lots of other foods.

I used to love the samoas, but I think they changed them 20 years ago. They taste full of chemicals to me now.

If you are my Facebook friend look for the photo I shared of the girls selling the cookies in front of the marijuana store. Lol.

ragingloli's avatar

No. We do not have those here.

lucillelucillelucille's avatar

@JLeslie -Lol! I haven’t been on FB in years

nightwolf5's avatar

No, I usually eat them sparingly when I buy them, so I can enjoy. However that said, I haven’t in a few years due to the price.

LuckyGuy's avatar

Yes I have. I’m pretty certain one of the trace ingredients in Samoas is crack.

@LuckyGuy -I believe you’re right. I dislike coconut but not those. lol
