When is the next olympics, summer or winter?

The winter ones will be in two years. In Vancouver starting February 12, 2010.

The next Summer one will be London 2012

Just to clarify, the each Olympic games, summer and winter are held every 4 years. The Winter and Summer Olympic games are skewed by 2 years to avoid having to hold 2 events in the same year.

So while the Summer ones have gone 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012, the Winter ones have gone 1998, 2002, 2006, 2010.

So maybe you want it every 2 years instead of 4 years? That would cheapen the event I am sure. In between Olympics, there are World Cup, World Champion and many other series of international competitions for all the different games.
