I think Wilder, will lay Fury out.
Should be a great fight, though.

I take Wilder, in round 5. But. Wilder, will wish, he never tangled with Furry. He will absorb a lot of damage.

Can’t wait to see it.

Fury bossed the whole fight, did exactly what he said he’d do.
Big respect champ!

They will both make a lot of money for hitting each other.

^ There’s NOT enough money in the world to get me to be punched like that for any length of time!!!

Wilder, second round knock out.
Based on his last name alone.

@elbanditoroso Except in Wilder’s case, he got paid for not laying a glove on Fury & getting his arse kicked!

@lucillelucillelucille I can see how people who don’t know boxing may have thought Wilder Fury was the new Stallone movie.

lucillelucillelucille's avatar

@ucme – You couldn’t make me watch a Stallone movie.
I have watched boxing in the past though and The Ultimate Fighting Championship is very entertaining as far as that kind of sport goes.

@lucillelucillelucille What if he had been in Jaws, on his boat?

lucillelucillelucille's avatar

@ucme-He’d need a bigger boat.

Fury did a lot of holding. A good strategy, considering his weight advantage. And it kept Wilder, from unloading his right.
But. As a boxing fan, I didn’t like the repeated head locks. Fury even lost a point, for his strategy. It was closer , to street fight, than a boxing match…
And I didn’t like Wilder’s corner, throwing in the towel.
That’s why heavyweight boxing, is so great. A guy can seem finished, then land a knockout blow…

But. If you look at the feet. Fury, was constantly in Wilder’s feet. A tell tale, that Fury, was frequently the better boxer. He had his left foot, inside of Wilder’s. Big mistake.
Power, comes from leverage. Wilder rarely had it..
He rarely got Fury’s feet out. You can’t let a guy get inside your feet.
Mike Tyson, was a specialist in this. He routinely got, into a bigger boxer’s feet. And kept his jaw, in his chest. Keeping his jaw away from bigger opponents.
He fought in a phone booth.
That’s how to beat a bigger man.

Wilder fought a bigger man. But. He didn’t take advantage of his abilities. And when they got close, Fury locked him up.

If Wilder, had better footwork, and Fury couldn’t headlock him, it would have been a better fight.

Fury blisterd him, with jabs. And wouldn’t let Wilder set up his right, with holds….

I’m not a fan, of how the fight went down…
