What is the difference beteween "while" and "during"?

How would it make a difference when to use and not use those terms?

That is what is the term for it happened in between the driving for example

“If you can notice, the word during must be followed by a noun and the word while is followed by a clause. Another difference between these two is the word during is a preposition and the word while is a conjunction.
