What do you suppose will be the role of Trump’s “deep state” in the coming contagion?

If they get sick they can self quarantine. Whether it’s flu or coronavirus or something else they shouldn’t be working with patients. Do you want the nurse or doctor taking care of you to be sick with anything?
Hopefully they will be able to ramp up production of the test kits.
There are still very few cases in America, it’s not that many healthcare workers interacting with coronavirus patients right now.
Trump, and his people, will likely continue to try to calm the citizenry, the sane thing any president would do. If the death rate is very high, or if hospitals are unable to give supportive care because they are full and employees are sick, then Trump might issue orders to try to control the spread like some other governments have.
