I ask for ice in my milk.

Never. I don’t think I’d like it to sit and get watery, however. Maybe on ice instead of in the same glass.

I’ve never ordered milk but if I did, I’d put a load of ice in it.

Nope. Odd, but for some reason I’ve never had a glass of milk when dining out. Even back in high school, the milk with school lunches came in half pint cartons. I’d not realized this prior to this question.

It would be inappropriate, nay, downright wrong, to serve milk with ice in it unless requested.

I have not ordered milk at a restaurant since I was a child. It isn’t healthy for a grown up to drink milk.

I’ve been told that, but I’ve gone crazy over the stuff since confined to the house. The wife and I have been putting out baked goods at a pace to rival WW 2 munitions factories. We’ve been giving most of the output away, but my current sugar, flour and milk intake is frightening. The life expectancy of a half gallon is currently around 3 days for the 2 of us. And now the 2% is nearly always sold out, forcing me to indulge in delicious whole milk. The only restriction on my intake is the requirement that it be ice cold. I’ve mastered my mom’s brownie recipe now to the point that I’m getting requests. We’re now shipping stuff to our friends and relatives to rave reviews.

No, there’s a reason there are no cows in the north pole.

I no longer drink milk, but the idea of adding ice to it never occurred to me. I don’t offhand see anything wrong with it.

It MUST be ice cold to begin with, and MUST NOT be allowed to sit around long enough to require ice. Warm or hot milk, other than disguised in cocoa or sauces, is for me an abomination.

At home is a different story. Frosted glass. OMG!

I’ve never ordered milk at a restaurant. Not even as a child.

I put ice in my milk when we go to breakfast because it has to be cold as possible when I drink it after my pancakes or waffles.

My wife likes that.
