No—the guy should offer his seat, to the girl, and he himself should stand. (unless the guy has some kind of disability).

(I’m a guy, by the way

I don’t know. It depends on what kind of upholstery I’m wearing.

Not unless we were dating.

On occasion I have done some playful role reversal. Fair is fair. I joined the Navy, and I support equal pay.
Sure, I’ve had guy friends sit on my lap.

I was sitting on my wife’s lap once, she was reading me a bedtime story :D
Anyhoo, I rippled out a silent fart, she genuinely thought her phone had vibrated & looked for a text that was not there…I laughed until my sides hurt lol

Only if he had a mask on his ass.

Depends on the friend, I’m extremely guarded with my personal space, but in the right situation… sure. I could see it happening.

I have offered several times in my lifetime to some guys who were not much heavier than I was. Only a couple took me up on it. With the larger guys who I feared would be too stressful for my legs, I offered them my seat with the provision that I get to sit on their lap. This worked out much better for me!!!

Yes, if he wasn’t crushing me and it was just a short time period, like a quick car ride to the mall/ party or being silly at a bar, something like that.

I grew up with mostly guy friends I have known my whole life. A seat is a seat, I see no difference in a guy or girl needing a seat.

I’m with @Yellowdog on this one. A man with any couth at all will give up his seat to a lady. It is what it is. Regardless if you know her or if she’s a stranger.

I grew up during the women’s lib movement & I feel that we gave up our right to an automatic seat just because we are female!!! I see that demanding equality means that his rights are just as equal to my rights as my rights are equal to his.

When in a situation where there are NO seats left & a guy was standing, I have offered my lap as an alternative.most thanked me for the offer & then declined.
